A devoted New York Mets fan says he does not regret the massive 'World Champs 2015' tattoo that he got even though his team did not win the World Series title.
Josh Davis was feeling rather bold when he decided to get the Mets tattoo on his right rib side last Tuesday during the first game of the World Series.
But when the Kansas City Royals beat the New York Mets 7-2 in 12 innings early Monday - their first World Series championship since 1985 and second overall - one would think Davis might regret the decision.
Surprisingly, the longtime fan doesn't.

Davis got the Mets tattoo last Tuesday during the first game of the World Series. He wrote on Twitter, 'Bout to make a bit of a risky move with my New York Mets'
'I don't, I've been a huge Mets fan my whole life. And whether I keep it wrong or fix it, I'll always love it,' he told Mashable's Sam Laird over Twitter.
Davis posted to Twitter on October 27 warning that he was about to make the risky move before going all in and doing it.

Davis wrote on Twitter that he has been a Mets fan his whole life and that whether he keeps the tattoo as it is or fixes it, he will always love it
'Watching the first pitch while getting a Met tattoo,' he wrote.
